Sorry this post is so horribly late. I’ve been home sick for days but have spent most of it sleeping. Blurg.
The Sisters were wonderful! Believe it or not I’ve never actually been to a concert that wasn’t in a garage or an alley. I decided a while ago that I’d wait for Mika or the Scissor Sisters to come into town. I’m not entirely happy with how Jake Shears’ face came out in the first panel. There’s not many pictures off him in 3/4s on the internet and that’s usually what I use for reference photos.
Jay Brannan was also fantastic. A very different sort of concert. Much smaller and more intimate. I enjoyed it very much AND he signed my ticket!
I’m so very excited for the Small Press Expo coming up on Saturday! If any of you are going, I’ll be wandering around slack-jawed and gibbering to my favorite web cartoonists.
