Almost caught up to a normal update schedule. Woo.

I do envy the Pokeon their free health care. I’m sure someone must’ve done jokes like this before but I couldn’t resist.

In other news, I’ve been noticing some very entertaining gay web series lately:

Husbands is the story of two high-profile gay men who wake up married in Vegas and (not wanting to hurt the cause) decide to stick it out. The episodes are short, but funny. There’s some wonderful bits of dialogue, but what else would you expect from someone who’s written for Buffy, Firefly, Battlestar, and Game of Thrones?

It Gets Betterish is about two friends living in New York. It’s kind of hard for me to describe. While there’s lots of stuff people tend to expect from gay media (picking people up in bars, LOTS of sex talk, etc etc) there’s also a lot of broken stereotypes (they cant stand Gaga, are friends but not attracted to each other, etc etc). It’s a funny look at just how ridiculous and/or annoying some gay stereotypes can really be.

The Outs balances humor with some really emotional moments. Another one set in New York, this time centering around a pair of exes. Sadly, they’re still only on Episode 3, but Kickstarter seems to be keeping them well funded. I can’t wait to see where it goes.

True to my covetous nature, I’ve now decided that I need a web series of my own at some point. Some point in the future. Probably the far future. Like, I shold probably get a book out first, huh?

While we’re all waiting for that, why not keep preoccupied with some Codon?
